Sea View Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Facility on St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, worked with the Virgin Islands Medical Institute Inc, (VIMI) the territory’s QIO, to reduce the percent of residents with chronic pain by 3%, post acute pain by 14% and pressure ulcers by 6%. VIMI customized workshops to encourage active staff engagement and provided tools and intervention techniques in response to their requests.
