Ocean
Edge Resort and Gold Club has been chosen as the official headquarters resort
for the 2003 AHQA CEO Retreat. This New England hotel, standing on four
hundred acres from the Cape Cod golf course to the sea in Brewster, hosts endless
activities that meet the ultimate in relaxation. Guests enjoy a selection of lodging
accommodations — championship golf, tennis, indoor and outdoor pools, and
a beautiful private beach on Cape Cod Bay. Ocean Edge, located on historic Route
6A in Brewster, is Cape Cod's premier golf and beach resort. In addition, the
26-mile Cape Cod Rail Trail offers cycling enthusiasts a scenic route from Ocean
Edge to the National Seashore. Dining options include four restaurants, including
a recently redecorated English-style pub in Ocean Edge's turn-of-the-century mansion.

Rates
All
room reservation must be made by June 25, 2003. Any
reservation made after the cut-off date will be on a space-available basis.
The
room rates are $245 (Golf Course One-Bedroom Villa w/sleep sofa’s – 20 available
– 525 Sq. ft); $260 (Mansion Standard Hotel Rooms – 400 Sq ft. – 10 available);
$340 (Mansion Hotel Senior Suite – 500 Sq ft. – 5 available), and
$520 (2 Bedroom Villas – 5 available – 1200 Sq. ft).
Accommodations
are adjacent to the mansion, which is a short stroll to Ocean Edge private beach
villas. They possess designer details, spacious interiors, private deck or patio,
and are appointed with all of the conveniences of home -- golf, pools, and dining
nearby.

Check-in/Check-out Times
Resort
check-in time is 3:00 p.m. for Mansion Hotel Rooms and 4:00 p.m. for Villas; checkout
time is 11:00 a.m. for Mansion Hotel Rooms and 10:00 a.m. for Villas. Guests arriving
before 3:00 p.m. will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis pending
availability of rooms.
Individual
Room Deposits
In
order to reserve a room and receive confirmation, a deposit of one night’s room
and tax is required at the time of the reservation. Upon arrival, the deposit
will be applied to your confirmed night of the reservation. Advance deposit refund-less
a $25.00 per unit handling fee-cancellation must be received no later than 14
days prior to arrival for villas and 14 days prior to arrival for hotel.
TRANSPORTATION
Barnstable
Municipal Airport in Hyannis, Massachusetts, is located 18 miles from Ocean Edge,
and offers direct flights from Logan International Airport in Boston, LaGuardia
International Airport in New York, and Newark International in New Jersey.
The
airport is served by several major airlines including USAir Express, Cape Air,
Island Air, and Nantucket Air. Private aircraft landing facilities are available
at Barnstable Municipal Airport (508-775-2020) and nearby Chatham Municipal Airport
(508-945-9000). Helicopter landings are permitted on the front lawn of Ocean Edge
Resort and Golf Club with advance notice.

Dress
Code
AHQA
has designated the dress code for the 2003 CEO Retreat as casual sportswear.
Weather
Mild
summer climate, moderated by Atlantic Ocean breezes, average temperatures 75-80
degrees, average low 60-65 degrees. Visitors are most comfortable with a light
jacket in the evening.

MURDER
MYSTERY DINNER
Work
together and become first class sleuths. Participants will receive an invitation
to help solve the mystery. Clues will be provided throughout the meeting and evening
as the drama unfolds. The night will only end when the mystery is solved. Every
group gathers their own pieces of the puzzle by being privy to different scenes.
Only with working together and putting together all of the pieces will the mystery
be solved.

2003
CEO RETREAT REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Payment
Registration
forms and payment (by check or credit card) must be received by Monday, June
16, 2003. Registrations received after this date are subject to on-site processing.
Payment must accompany registration forms.
Cancellations/Substitutions
Only
written cancellations received by Monday, June 16, 2003 will receive refunds
(less a 20% registration fee). Refunds will not be issued for cancellations after
this date. Registration fees for canceled registrants cannot be applied or credited
to future retreats. Registrants who are unable to attend may send substitutions
at no charge.
No-shows
Registrants
who do not cancel prior to the retreat and who do not attend will be responsible
for the full registration fee.
