MEETING SPACE REQUEST
All meeting space needed for functions during the 2001 Annual Session must be arranged through the American Health Quality Association's (AHQA) Department of Education and Development. A completed request for space must be submitted to the Meeting Planner in order to be considered for space. The Meeting Planner is the only individual authorized to approve assignment of meeting space in the conference hotel. Assignment of space is based on the date the form is received-- all forms are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. All requests for meeting rooms must be submitted by August 1, 2002. For more information and the Meeting Space Request Form click here.

AUDIO CASSETTE TAPES
Teach'em has been designated as the official recording company for the Annual Session and House of Delegates Meeting.

CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION
The Colorado Foundation for Medical Care (CFMC) will be jointly sponsoring the education portion of this meeting. CFMC is accredited by the Colorado Medical Society to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. CFMC designates this CME activity for 1 hour of Category 1 credit toward the Physicians Recognition Award of the American Medical Association.

DRESS CODE

AHQA has designated the dress code for the 2002 Annual Session and House of Delegates Meeting as business casual.

WEATHER
September temperatures in New York average 85-90 degrees and low around 60-75 degrees. Visitors are most comfortable with a light jacket or coat and lightweight summer clothes for outdoor activities during the day. An all-weather coat will take the chill off in the evenings. Please be aware that indoor meeting room temperatures tend to be cooler, and dress accordingly.
