What AHQA Can Do For You

AHQA is a leading national association devoted exclusively to the improvement of health care quality. Members benefit from networking opportunities that foster communication with federal agencies and the broader quality improvement community. Members also benefit from educational and training opportunities. Membership is open to organizations and individuals.

Associate membership is open to:

• Organizations directly involved in clinical or service quality improvement, either as a health care service provider implementing quality improvement or as a facilitator of improvement (a consultant) working directly with one or more health care service providers.
  
  
• Organizations that advocate health care quality improvement principles on behalf of consumers, with either a consumer-governed board or a predominantly consumer membership

• Active representation on Capitol Hill, at the White House, and with federal agencies.
• Subscription to AHQA Matters, a membership newsletter covering: health care quality legislation, federal regulatory deliberations and decisions, meetings and conferences, policy papers, as well as news from quality improvement organizations and associations around the country. View a sample issue.
• Ability to submit news items for potential inclusion in AHQA Matters.
• Meeting registration discounts.
• Discounted exhibit fees at AHQA's conferences.
• Updates on major health care quality issues.

How to Join

Membership applications are referred to the AHQA Credentials Committee for consideration and approval. Your membership fee will not be collected until your application is approved. AHQA will respond to your application within 30 days.
