  1. When is the Annual Meeting? February13-15, 2007. However, additional meetings and events are scheduled Sunday through Friday of that week. We plan to have a draft agenda on the website by October 23, 2006.

  3. Where can I found out more info on the meeting-general info, agenda, speakers, etc? Check out the Annual Meeting information page of our website: www.ahqa.orgspeaker information will be available beginning in late October and will be updated as new speakers are confirmed.

  4. I am an AHQA member (work for a QIO) or I am a non-member, how do I register? Visit our website (www.ahqa.org) or call/email Amanda Scott 202-331-5790 ext. 1567 or ascott@ahqa.org

  5. How do I get a hotel room for the conference? Hotel reservations will be accepted via the AHQA registration process. As a participant registers for the conference, they will receive a sleeping room. Participants will not be allowed to make hotel reservations directly with the New Orleans Marriott. Hotel confirmations will be sent by AHQA.

  6. I am not a member of AHQA; can I attend, if so, how do I register? Yes, we'd love to have you attend the educational sessions that occur on Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday, & Thursday. Not confirmed yet, but we may offer some additional workshops on Monday and Friday. Click on our website www.ahqa.org. Then fax or mail the registration form before the deadlines. If there are any questions, please contact Amanda Scott at 202-331-5790 ext. 1567 or ascott@ahqa.org.

  11. What is the dress code for the conference? Business casual. The temperature in February should be around 70-85 degrees during the day and at night 55-65 degrees.

  14. I’m still concerned about New Orleans and am not sure how safe the area is. Where can I get information? Check out Fodor's Online Guide to New Orleans - http://www.fodors.com/miniguides/mgresults.cfm?destination=new_orleans@110 - Fodor’s has put together a free, full-color, downloadable travel guide to New Orleans as part of the company’s commitment to covering the post-Katrina city. You can also visit our website www.ahqa.org and click on all the different Fact Sheets, which provide details from the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau. You can also find comments from other associations/organizations that have held conventions since Hurricane Katrina – just follow the links on our website.
