| WELCOME TO AHQA 2005 WASHINGTON
WEEK!
The American Health Quality Association cordially invites you to attend
the AHQA 2005 Washington Week, May 23 through May 27, 2005. All events
will be taking place at the Renaissance Washington, DC Hotel, unless
otherwise noted. For your convenience we have included a draft schedule
of major events for the entire week. Each event listing includes
specific staff contact information, location and notice if separate
registration is required. We would like to draw your attention
to a few important details:
Hotel Information
Please
note that the hotel room block at the Renaissance Hotel (202-898-9000)
closes April 22 nd, and has limited sleeping room availability. If
you have not already made reservations, you should do so immediately. Once
the main hotel is full, we will not be booking an overflow property and
hotel arrangements will be up to each individual. There is a major
city-wide conference in DC that week, so hotel sleeping rooms will be
very hard to obtain. Please be sure to book your sleeping rooms
based on actual travel to minimize last minute attrition penalties being
charged to the Association. For additional hotel details, visit: www.ccbhconference.org and
click on “Hotel Information”.

Thanks
to all of you who have already registered a large staff contingent
for this meeting, co-sponsored by AHQA and eHealth Initiative! Click
here www.ccbhconference.org for
the most recent draft of the conference agenda. You will see that this
meeting, unlike most others, provides an excellent opportunity to interact
and share with colleagues involved in health information technology (HIT)
and health information exchange (HIE) implementation. Please be
reminded that registration for this meeting also closes May 10 th. For
those of you considering supporting or exhibiting, please be sure to
submit your materials by April 22 nd so that we can ensure good exposure
in the conference materials. We encourage you to share information
about this meeting with your local physician offices and encourage their
participation alongside your QIO staff. For more info visit www.ccbhconference.org.
For registration assistance contact Amanda Scott at ascott@ahqa.org.
We
look forward to welcoming our members “inside
the beltway” for an exciting week of events!
