| Presenters: |

Mitchiner, MD, MPS, FACEP, MPRO |
| Description: |
PowerPoint
presentation assisting QIOs to:
• Analyze
their ability to provide an effective business case to health systems
decision-makers regarding the need for establishing partnerships with
their organizations
• Identify strengths and weaknesses of their
front-line negotiators ability to network with both health and community-based
organizations for mutually beneficial outcomes
• Develop observation
and communication skills that get QIO professionals in the door, invited
back, and help them to close the deal.
The goals
of this presentation are to share successful how-to networking and
marketing strategies and techniques that will assist QIOs in developing
top-down relationships with health systems.
These relationships
will enable them to gain buy-in that will positively impact their work
on an individual physician level. Relationships at the top will allow
a QIO the opportunity to recruit collaborating physicians en masse
rather than one at a time. |
