MyHealthFinder.com is a service of the Niagara Health Quality Coalition providing quality reports, health news and health quality facts. Site helps consumers make choices regarding hospitals, health plans and physicians and provides a Health Library and Health Tools to answer general medical questions.

Healthcentral.com provides health news and information on a number of topics, some relating to health quality.

WellnessJunction.com is geared to consumers and professionals, including several sections that discuss health quality.

HealthGrades.com helps assess and improve the quality of healthcare nationwide. HealthGrades offers consumers free ratings to evaluate and select providers, works with providers to assess and enhance their care and helps employers and payers lower healthcare costs by improving quality overall.

Consumer Coalition for Quality Health Care is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and improving the quality of health care for all Americans. Members consist of a diverse group of consumer organizations representing over 35 million people that include the elderly, children, the disabled, nurses, hospital workers and public employees.

The Health Privacy Project is dedicated to raising public awareness of the importance of ensuring health privacy in order to improve health care access and quality, both on an individual and a community level. The Project is a part of the Institute for Health Care Research and Policy at the Georgetown University Medical Center.

Council for Refractive Surgery Quality Assurance (CRSQA) is a nonprofit consumer/patient health organization that certifies surgeons who perform eye surgery to eliminate glasses. Extensive information regarding refractive surgery. Links to certified surgeons and other vision related websites.

Medicareadvocacy.org describes Medicare Part A and Part B coverage and the appeals process

The Medicare Rights Center (MRC) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that older adults and people with disabilities with Medicare get good, affordable health care. The Medicare Rights Center website offers helpful and reliable Medicare information for consumers and professionals and Medicare counseling by e-mail.

The Physician Advisor is dedicated to the dissemination of accurate medical information not readily available by other means to empower the public to make informed decisions.

The Center for Medical Consumers is a non-profit advocacy organization active in both statewide and national efforts to improve the quality of health care. The organization is committed to broadening the public's awareness about the quality problems that pervade the American health care system, and participates in a number of New York State task forces and workgroups charged with improving the quality of healthcare.

The Foundation for Accountability is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping Americans make better health care decisions. FACCT's board of trustees is made up of consumer organizations and purchasers of health care services and insurance representing 80 million Americans.

The Health On the Net Foundation (HON), created in 1995, is a not-for-profit International Swiss Organization. HON's mission is to guide non-medical users and medical practitioners to useful and reliable online medical and health information.
